Description
An os command injection vulnerability exists in the nas.cgi remove_dir() functionality of Wavlink AC3000 M33A8.V5030.210505. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary code execution. An attacker can make an authenticated HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability.

CVE-2024-39360 is an OS command injection vulnerability (CWE-77) in the nas.cgi remove_dir() functionality of the Wavlink AC3000 router running firmware version M33A8.V5030.210505. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary code execution on the affected device.
An attacker with high privileges (PR:H) who has obtained valid authentication can exploit this vulnerability remotely over the network (AV:N) with low complexity (AC:L) and no user interaction required (UI:N). Successful exploitation grants arbitrary code execution, with a CVSS v3.1 base score of 9.1 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H), enabling high-impact confidentiality, integrity, and availability violations in a changed scope (S:C).
