Likely Mitigating ControlsAI
Per-CVE control mapping for this CVE has not run yet; the list below is derived from the weakness types (CWEs) cited in the NVD entry.
Penetration testing attempts server-side requests to internal resources, identifying SSRF weaknesses for remediation.
Outbound connections to external resources can be monitored and limited at the boundary, reducing SSRF impact.
Validates server-side URLs and resource references to block SSRF attempts.
Detects server-side request forgery through monitoring of unexpected outbound connections.
NVD Description

be met. Due to a logical error in the code, a network transfer operation that was requested by an application could wrongfully reuse an existing SMB connection to the same server that was using a different 'share' than the new subsequent transfer should. This could in unlucky situations lead to the download of the wrong file or the upload of a file to the wrong place. When this happens, the same credentials are used and the server name is the same.
